“Exploring a museum gallery is a rapturous, fully immersive experience… The more associations you can feed your mind, the more neural connections to bind the memory.”
This research tells us what we already know. Seeing art in person and viewing art digitally are fundamentally different experiences. As a painter, I LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing the physical presence of paint to the canvas. It’s active. Like hearing and appreciating the importance of an ever so brief solo in a symphony performance.
