I posted this quote by Joseph Adolphe yesterday and it’s making me feel a little sad and introspective. He said…

“Your talent is like a little flame, and for me painting is that little flame- I’ve spent all of my time for the last 25 years trying to prevent people from blowing it out.”

For me… I had an invisible little ember buried deep down for 25+ years and the most wonderful person in my life poured a f-ing truck load of gasoline on it!

I hope all my artist friends (or anyone with creative passion) are surrounding themselves with people who fuel their fire!!
