I’m excited to announce that my painting Half-Forgotten Dream will be on display at Axis Gallery in Pioneer Square, Seattle! This piece is part of a group exhibition featuring the talented students from Gage Academy of Art’s Contemporary Painting and Drawing Atelier, where I’ve had the honor of honing my craft.
The exhibition runs from May to July 2024 and includes works by renowned mentor Mark Kang-O’Higgins and other artists, like myself, who help guide students in their creative journey. The chance to exhibit alongside these talented students and instructors is both humbling and inspiring, reflecting the strong collaborative atmosphere that Gage fosters.
Pioneer Square is known for its vibrant art scene, and this show captures the essence of contemporary painting, featuring a mix of styles and perspectives. Half-Forgotten Dream is explores the boundaries of abstraction and narrative in ways that reflect my artistic growth throughout my time at Gage. The exhibition is a celebration of mentorship, experimentation, and the shared exploration of modern themes in art.
If you’re in the Seattle area this summer, I invite you to stop by and see the work firsthand. It’s a unique opportunity to witness not only my journey but also the collective evolution of the talented group of artists I’ve been fortunate enough to collaborate with. I’m excited to share this milestone with you all—hope to see you at the gallery!
