OK I’m sure the entire world has seen this video by now, but I haven’t been able to get it off my mind today. There are so m any great lessons in here. For me the top two:
1) The incredible power of having vision in your work. It is essential to get you through those times when reality isn’t matching up
and
2) Giving your kids space and emotional support to pursue their dreams. Phenomenal example of great parenting. This dad is remarkable – he doesn’t push, he doesn’t solve his kids problems, he offers him encouraging positive support – even when no one is showing up. It would be hard to watch your kid wait day after day for someone to show up. I think this dad is amazing
