Exciting News: My Paintings Accepted into WMOCA’s 8th Annual National Juried Exhibition

I’m thrilled to announce that two of my paintings, Aliyah and Heart of a Fool, have been accepted into the 8th Annual National Juried Exhibition at the Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art (WMOCA)! The exhibition runs from October 18, 2024, through December 28, 2024, and I couldn’t be more honored to have my work included in such a prestigious event.

WMOCA’s Mission: Showcasing Innovative and Impactful Contemporary Art

WMOCA is dedicated to fostering appreciation for contemporary art by showcasing work that challenges, inspires, and evokes meaningful conversation. The museum’s focus is on pushing artistic boundaries while celebrating the diverse perspectives of artists around the world.

How My Work Aligns with WMOCA’s Vision

Both Aliyah and Heart of a Fool resonate with WMOCA’s mission by exploring deeply personal yet universal themes of resilience, vulnerability, and emotional courage. In Aliyah, I portray the strength found in self-discovery, while Heart of a Fool examines the courage it takes to embrace love again after heartbreak. The narrative depth of these pieces, combined with my blend of classical and abstract techniques, fits perfectly with WMOCA’s goal of showcasing work that reflects the complexities of the human experience.

More to Come Once the Exhibition Opens

I’ll be sharing more updates and insights once the exhibition officially opens. I’m excited to see how my work resonates with the viewers and to engage with the incredible community of artists and collectors involved in this year’s show.
